Ashlyn Herlihy

Hailing from the Central Coast, Coach Ashlyn Herlihy attended Arroyo Grande High School, where she emerged as the all-time leading scorer in school history, earning 2X San Luis Obispo County Player of the Year and 2X PAC 8 MVP honors under Coach Brian Hutchens. Transitioning to Division One basketball at Santa Clara University, Ashlyn garnered 2X All West Coast Conference honors and etched her name as the 13th all-time leading scorer and 5th all-time leading rebounder in the University’s history. After her stint at SCU, she signed to play professional basketball in Belgium for 2 years and competed in EuroCup in back to back years.

Ashlyn's journey is underscored by her unwavering faith in the Lord and support by her family. As a coach, her passion lies in instilling life lessons, emphasizing values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance.

Patrick Angle

Coach Patrick Angle is a dynamic figure in the basketball community, renowned for his expertise and passion for the game. A product of Arroyo Grande's varsity basketball program, Patrick excelled as a player earning the First Team All SLO County award twice and becoming the 2017 All-Star Invitational 3-Point Champion. His prowess on the court was highlighted by his tenacity as a defender and facilitator, leaving an indelible mark on the Point Guard position. Patrick then graduated from Cornell University in 2021.

As a coach, Patrick specializes in honing the skills of guards. Patrick's coaching style emphasizes small group training to cultivate an atmosphere that fosters collective player development, making his upcoming role with the Magic an exciting opportunity.
